I was devastated but now going thru cancer myself I understand him not wanting to share his journey of cancer. He is a passionate about his craft and wanted to complete it. God places us in quiet places when he has great work for us to achieve. -- L Boogie

I was shocked when I heard the news about Chadwick Boseman. I had no idea that he was sick and honestly, I was just starting to catch on to his career. It's saddening to lose a great black male actor who brought so much to the characters that he portrayed on screen. The world was blessed with his gift in such a compact career. May his ancestral spirit guide us in black media to continue to tell our stories and shine light on our greatness! Àse. WAKANDA FOREVER. -- Krys

I’d gotten an alert from Google News. When I opened the notification, I was sick to my stomach! I paused in whatever it was that I was doing & just stared at my phone. I felt shock, hurt, disbelief and anger. It actually felt like when I found out that my best friend had died. It was such a deep personal feeling which was kinda weird because it’s not like I’d met him before. Why did I feel like a piece of my energy had just drifted away? -- CaribGem
